At HarvellTech, we take pride in the quality and durability of our custom-built PCs. Our comprehensive 5-year warranty covers defects or malfunctions under normal use and maintenance conditions.
1. Full Coverage: First 2 Years (Parts, Labor & Shipping)
During the first two (2) years from the purchase date, HarvellTech will provide:
- Parts: Replacement or repair of defective components, subject to maintenance and usage conditions.
- Labor: Free labor for diagnosing and repairing issues.
- Shipping Costs: Covered shipping both ways for warranty-covered repairs.
2. Limited Coverage: Years 3 to 5 (Labor Only)
From years 3 to 5, the warranty provides:
- Labor: Free labor for diagnosing and repairing your system.
- Parts: Replacement part costs are the customer’s responsibility.
- Shipping: Customers cover shipping costs in these years.
Warranty Terms & Conditions
1. What is Covered?
This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship for:
- Custom-built PCs: Components like CPU, GPU, RAM, motherboard, PSU, and storage.
- Accessories: Covered under respective manufacturer warranties.
2. Maintenance & Cleaning Requirements
To retain warranty coverage, customers must perform regular maintenance, including:
- Dust Removal: Clean dust from fans, heatsinks, and vents at least every 3-6 months using compressed air or appropriate tools.
- Airflow: Keep airflow pathways unobstructed. Avoid placing the PC in confined spaces or areas prone to dust accumulation.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect components for cable alignment, wear, or disconnections.
Failure to adhere to these requirements resulting in overheating or hardware damage may void the warranty.
3. Conditions for Parts Coverage (First 2 Years)
Parts will be replaced or repaired if:
- No overclocking beyond manufacturer specifications.
- No physical damage or unauthorized modifications.
- System has been properly maintained and cleaned.
4. What is Not Covered?
The HarvellTech warranty does not cover:
- Overclocking: Beyond factory settings.
- Unauthorized Modifications: Including repairs or upgrades.
- Neglected Maintenance: Damage caused by failure to clean or maintain the system properly.
- Software Issues: Viruses or user-installed programs.
- Physical Damage: Accidents, impacts, or misuse.
5. Warranty Claim Process
- Contact Us: Use our Contact Form to start a claim.
- Diagnostics: Our team will assist remotely. Shipping is covered during the first 2 years; customers are responsible in years 3-5.
- Repair/Replacement: Defective parts replaced (years 1-2); customer pays for parts in years 3-5.
6. Limitations of Liability
- Data Loss: HarvellTech is not responsible for data loss during repairs.
- Non-transferable: Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
